Rooted in a lifelong connection to Southwest Colorado, Jeff draws deep inspiration from the landscapes, histories, and enduring spirit of the American West. Growing up surrounded by the rugged beauty of the San Juan Mountains, he developed an early fascination with the region—one that continues to shape his artistic practice today.

From drawing as a child to painting as a lifelong pursuit, Jeff has cultivated his work as a form of expression and communication, translating feeling, memory, and place into visual form. His process reflects decades of learning how to articulate emotion through art.

The historic towns of Telluride, Ouray, Silverton, and Durango—rich with stories of miners, outlaws, vigilante justice, and frontier life—serve as a continual source of inspiration. Coupled with the dramatic terrain of alpine meadows, desert canyons, and ancient Puebloan sites, the region offers an endless well of subject matter.
