Artist in residence Pilot Program:
The Working Gallery
This winter, two local artists will bring their creative practices into Telluride Arts HQ for a four-month residency. Throughout the season, visitors can discover works in progress, meet the artists during special Open Studio events, and see their ideas come to life. The residency will culminate in a spring exhibition celebrating the work created by both artists.
Emily Ballou
This winter, a portion of the TA HQ gallery becomes a working studio.
Telluride Arts is transforming part of its HQ Gallery into a creative workspace where visitors can experience art as it happens. Watch ideas take shape, see works evolve, and connect with local artists throughout their creative process.
The Winter Artist-in-Residence program provides dedicated studio space for local artists while inviting the community to experience the journey from creation to exhibition.
