AUGUST 6 - 31 • ART WALK RECEPTION 5-7PM | Telluride Arts will be the first location to launch the Social Justice Artist Grant Exhibition. Featuring the recipients of the 2026 Social Justice Artist Grant, and thanks to generous support from local philanthropists, this opportunity invited visual artists and collectives working in the Southwest Colorado region to create new work that sparks dialogue, reflection, connection, and engages with urgent social justice issues. For this August’s Art Walk Reception (5-7PM) at Telluride Arts HQ Gallery, several of the grantees will be present to speak about their artworks - stop by to learn about their creative process!

Join us this Thursday, August 6 for the launch of the small, curated traveling exhibition beginning in Telluride and traveling to select communities within the Southwest Colorado Creative District Network. The traveling exhibition format is designed to give each project meaningful visibility and allow audiences in multiple communities to engage deeply with the work.
