Introducing our brand-new Creative Exchange - a peer-led learning series where artists share insights, tools, and professional knowledge. We welcome artists of all levels to connect, learn, and build community at Telluride Arts HQ. February 12th’s Creative Exchange is titled “In AI = Artistic Imagination” and will be hosted by local artist, Brandon Berkel.

Through the lens of “In AI = Artistic Imagination”, Brandon Berkel shares his personal journey as an artist navigating creativity alongside real-life responsibilities, being a father and husband, managing a bar, and staying connected to his artistic practice. He reflects on how AI became a tool that allowed him to continue creating art during busy and demanding seasons of his life. In his practice, Brandon explores the importance of imagination as a driving force for creativity, problem-solving, and artistic expression. His perspective invites us to rethink how new tools can support (not replace) the human imagination.

Brandon will also speak about his ongoing art project at the Transfer Warehouse, where he collaborates with local artists and curates street art as a way to activate the space. His goal is to “wake up” the warehouse through local art in the heart of Telluride.
