Aspen trees inspire strength, resilience and sense of community with their mass intertwined interconnected root system. They inspire me as I hike through the magical Aspens of vibrant colors throughout the different seasons in Telluride. My Aspen paintings express the connection with nature’s community of illuminating majestic Aspens grouped together in a community and their resilience through each of the seasons in the beautiful mountains of Telluride. Golden luminescence sunlight shines through the trees and makes them glow so radiantly and they stand so majestically power of strength. Each Aspen tree is so uniquely beautiful and a magnificent piece of art with their smooth barks and black eyes. Aspen trees truly inspire me, give me strength, provide a sense of community and the connection being in God’s beautiful gift of nature that lifts my soul! 

Doris Tinsley Nadel is a local artist in Telluride that paints with passion, positivity, and vibrant energy, exploring the harmony between color, shape, form, and rhythm. Her bold use of texture and the interplay between positive and negative space create a visual experience that feels like movement — artwork that uplifts and resonates on an emotional level. After a successful career in technology and media, Doris dedicated herself fully to her lifelong calling: painting. Her work has been exhibited in Solo and Group Exhibitions, Businesses Building Lobbies, Corporate Offices, Hotels over the years and featured in major art events including Art Expo New York, Art Santa Fe, Affordable Art Fair New York, Red Dot Miami, and recently CONTEXT Art Miami during Art Basel Miami 2025.
