Micheline Klagsbrun: Whispers in the Woods
“I have always relished the exploration of translucency and the layering of textures, and have extended these into sculpture. When I first arrived in Telluride I began my exploration of this new place by wandering and scavenging, collecting the elements of the local landscape - branches, bark, bones, birds’ nests. I incorporate these remains or shadows of life into my sculpture, making visible the silent messages of this mountain landscape.” - Micheline
Mixed media sculpture with found seedpod, feathers and ghost manzanita
