Ally Crilly
Artist Biography
Ally Crilly is an artist living in southwest Colorado. She began painting after working as a designer for decades and is now is expanding her love of creating to products and surface area pattern design. Crilly has been in the Telluride region since early 90s after growing up in NY. She loves art, mountains, family, yoga and figuring out how to be a human being. She works as an artist, yoga teacher and freelance graphic designer.
Ally loves color, texture, playing, and the adventure of seeing what becomes. Andy Nasisse notes: “Ally’s paintings are vibrant, deeply felt, and emotionally complex explorations of self and still life, modeled onto and into the picture plane with exuberant color and psychological intensity,” he said. “They are celebrations of life, paint, abstraction, and the act of painting.”
