BIO

A resident of Telluride since 1989, Michele Foote grew up in New England. She earned her BA in elementary education from Boston College with a minor in studio art/ceramics. A retired educator, she taught at Telluride Elementary for 25 years and now teaches ceramics and creates in the studio at the Ah Haa School for the Arts. Michele pairs her love of shaping clay with a curiosity about pattern and color fostered through quilting and fabric printing.
