Lulu Priddy
Lulu Priddy is a visual artist, poet, and children’s art instructor based in Telluride, CO. Their artistic practice includes watercolor, mixed media, ceramics, and text. Lulu’s work explores gender, childhood, and nonbinary identity through abstract visual narratives. Recurring imagery of humanoid figures, storybook characters and anatomical fragments distort and recombine to resist binary classification. Lulu grew up in New York City and received a BA in Media Studies with a minor in Studio Art from Scripps College. They are the author of the poetry chapbook Swallow, Low (2016). Lulu is currently the Manager of Visual Arts Programming at Ah Haa School for the Arts.
