Jacqui McCormick

Jacqui McCormick is the K-6 art teacher at Telluride Mountain School. She has spent the last dozen years developing an innovative, experiential, and interdisciplinary art curriculum. Her goal as an educator is to engage students in and out of the classroom in creative ways to develop their autonomy, imagination, and creative problem solving skills. Most recently, she is connecting local artists with students to share the experience of the artist and their working studios. She works adaptively in her work to expand children's ideas of what it means to be a working artist in our world today and how it will change tomorrow. You can find over ten years worth of her time-lapses of Telluride in the In Motion exhibit at Telluride Arts through April. She is also featuring a piece for the Wearable Art line in the 2026 TAB show this February.
