Telluride Arts nurtures a vibrant, inclusive creative community by supporting artists, presenting cultural experiences, and inspiring connections through the arts.

How We Do It

For over 50 years, Telluride Arts has provided direct support to independent artists through grants, exhibition opportunities, and professional development, while also offering free community space to local nonprofits. We have also played a foundational role in helping major cultural events take root, serving as the original fiscal sponsor for festivals including Telluride Bluegrass, Telluride Film Festival, Telluride Chamber Music, Telluride Theatre and more. Today, we continue to offer that same opportunity to incubate programs, continue to provide artist grants, activate public spaces with art, present signature events like Art Walk, and foster opportunities for engagement and connection.
