My name is Danielle DeRoberts and I am an explorer of the dream world. I would say my job is to help people and it is perfect for me because it makes me happy. I am currently working on this (points to series of paintings in her apartment studio), which I am excited about because it is different than any other series of paintings I’ve ever done. I wind down by listening to music with headphones, and get pumped up by possibility. My favorite thing to do in Telluride is create art here. My least favorite thing about Telluride is that my sister isn’t here with me. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is not to judge. One day I hope my art will inspire all over the world. My most treasured item is my soul because self-love comes first. My parting words for Telluride artists and community would be break patterns.
