BRING MORE ART TO THE STREETS!
FLASH GRANTS FOR ARTISTS fund small, but impactful, guerrilla-style ART HAPPENINGS that BRING MORE ART TO the streets AND TO THE PEOPLE IN Telluride.
Grants range from $50-$300, and will be offered through an easy application process, and a quick turnaround so you have the cash you need to create something wonderful, unexpected, and imaginative. Projects can include, but are certainly not limited to, site-specific performance, poetry readings, temporary art installations, interactive activities, mini-dances, music performances, and much more!
Applications are accepted and will be awarded by a peer committee of local artists, on a rolling basis while funds are available. This program is part of the Telluride Arts Small Grant program, an investment to develop the expertise of local artists funded by the Town of Telluride and administered by Telluride Arts.
ELIGIBILITY
Applications must be made in the name of an individual artist or a team of artists.
Applicant must live or work in Telluride.
Applicant is 18 or older.
The applicant must have completed final reports for previously completed Telluride Arts grants.
WHO/WHAT IS NOT ELIGIBLE:
Organizations.
Happenings already funded by other grants.
Employees or board members of Telluride Arts.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Artistic excellence, skill, creativity, and innovation.
Concept and plan to share.
Reach and impact for the people in Telluride.
SELECTION PROCESS
Awards will be determined by a peer review panel via email.
The applications are accepted and awarded on a rolling basis, while funds are available.
Once your application has been received, we will try our best to let you know within two weeks to ensure quick turnaround.
