Second Chance Humane Society’s Sit, Stay, Shop! is thrilled to feature repurposed wearable art designed by long-time local Ashley Shupp. Ashley has spent most of her life growing up in the Telluride mountains, where her love for creating began at a young age. Inspired by the influence of her clever and creative grandmother, Ashley’s passion for sewing blossomed. Today, Ashley designs custom jackets using all types of textiles, transforming gently used blankets, towels, and more into one-of-a-kind treasures. She loves giving new life to materials that would otherwise end up in the landfill.
