PARKING:

Please plan to park in Carhenge if you're leaving a car in town. There is free bus service back to the Transfer Warehouse, or it's about a 10 minute walk.

WHAT YOU NEED

There are two booth options:

All vendor spaces are currently SOLD OUT (as of 4/25/19). Additional booths may become available in late May 2019. Please fill out the application including your booth preference to be added to the waitlist. Booths will be released on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  1. Tent Space: 10’ x 10’

    1. Tent required.

    2. Table or display that fits within 10’ x 10’ tent.

  1. Table Space: 6’ x 6’

    1. Set up under our 20’ x 40’ tent.

    2. Table or display that fits within 6’ x 6’ space.

Rain is a strong possibility, so tents will be a necessity. We will have the venue set up with tented areas for people to sit and linger in case of a downpour. Please bring a chair, table and any other exhibition supplies needed for your booth. Extension cords and fun decor are encouraged. Limited electricity is available - please indicate on your application if you’ll definitely require an outlet in order for us to plan accordingly.

Artists are responsible for set up, take down and all delivery, handling, and removal of artwork.


COSTS

BOOTH RATE: 

  • 10’x10’ space: $150 + 15% commission on sales.

  • 6’x 6’ space: $125 + 15% commission on sales.

COMMISSION: 

  • Telluride Arts charges a 15% commission on sales to cover credit card processing fees, bookkeeping, advertising, and event administration.

*Booth fees are non-refundable after June 25, 2019.


SALES

Telluride Arts will handle all sales at a checkout. Please read price tags and labels section carefully.

Credit Cards: We accept all credit cards, checks and cash, and pay all processing fees out of our commission.

Taxes: We collect and pay applicable state, county and city sales taxes.

Payments: You will receive a check equal to the total amount of sales less the commission within two weeks. You will also receive a detail of your sales. Please note: Uncle Sam wants YOU to report your state and federal income taxes, if applicable. 

Price Tags and Labels: Please make your labels using your three-letter code. Labels must include your code and the price. Please be sure every item is marked clearly.


YOU WILL HAVE THE CHOICE BETWEEN A 10’X10’ SPACE OR A 6’X6’ SPACE. WE WILL ASSIGN THE SPECIFIC BOOTH SPACES CLOSER TO THE EVENT. IF YOU HAVE ANY NEEDS OR REQUIREMENTS AS FAR AS PLACEMENT, PLEASE INCLUDE THAT IN YOUR APPLICATION.

Liability release *
Liability Release: Please read thoroughly. By checking the box at the bottom you agree to the following terms. * Telluride Arts and/or the Summer Bazaar will not be liable for refunds or any other liability due to weather, the venue being damaged or destroyed by fire or by any other calamity or act of God, public enemy, statutes, ordinances, or any legal authority or by any cause beyond Telluride Art’s or the Summer Bazaar’s control. All summer events in the Transfer Warehouse are contingent upon continued use as per our contractual agreements. In the unexpected circumstances that our continued use is prohibited, we will let you know with as much notice as possible and will issue a full refund. Insurance will be the artists’ responsibility. Telluride Arts and the Summer Bazaar assume no risk. Artists are responsible for delivery, handling, installation, and removal of their own area and displays. All trash will be deposited in the dumpster provided. Artists are required to be present at their booth during all of the hours of operation of the Summer Bazaar, unless they are volunteering during that time. NO ALCOHOL OR SMOKING ARE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES. I hereby release and forever discharge Telluride Council for the Arts and Humanities, Summer Bazaar, The Town of Telluride, all sponsoring organizations, and their directors, officers, employees, agents and volunteers from any responsibility, personal liability, claims, loss or damage arising out of or in conjunction with my participation in Telluride Art’s Summer Bazaar. Telluride Arts and/or the Summer Bazaar will not be responsible for any injury sustained by exhibitors or guest while within space designated for exhibits. Further, I understand that I store my artwork at my own risk. Submission of work to the Summer Bazaar constitutes an agreement to comply with all conditions set forth by Telluride Arts for this show and to abide by Town of Telluride regulations. Any work entered in this event may be photographed for publicity purposes. All participants agree that that the work submitted is theirs. I understand that Telluride Arts is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to person or property or myself or associates of the event. If I desire liability and property insurance, I will obtain it at my own expense.
