TCAH The Telluride Council for the Arts and Humanities, Telluride's oldest arts agency (established since 1971), is well-known for its successful grants-making activities, running the Stronghouse Studios Artists Cooperative, and running the Art Walk on the first Thursday of every month. We are focused on outreach, education and making it affordable for families to participate in cultural experiences. more>>

Humanities Events TCAH is pleased to present nonprofit education seminars. The following seminars will take place this summer: Please RSVP to info@telluridearts.org, as space is limited! June 18th: Creating a Nonprofit - Learn the basics to starting your own nonprofit July 9th : Outreach - learn successful techniques in reaching out to the Latino, Native American, Single Parent family and other groups July 16th: Building Dynamic Boards - learn board members' rights and responsibilities and deepen your understanding of your own organization August 16th: Volunteer and Organizational Liability - learn how to protect the organization, and its employees, directors, officers and volunteers as well as effective risk management techniques August 27th (Pending): High Impact Organizations - learn and develop strategies that allow you to increase your organization's ability to impact your community and advocate your mission. All seminars (except the outreach) are $free with TCAH membership ($20 without) and must be registered in advance.

Small Grant and Artists Fellowship Applications We are proud to be able to fund local artists and organizations in their arts and humanities projects each March and September. Stronghouse Studios: Gallery Hours Stronghouse Studios, produced by TCAH, is open every Thursday from 12 noon-6 pm, and by appointment. Come and enjoy local artist’s work in a studio and gallery setting. First Thursdays feature a resident artist on exhibition from 5-8 pm, with refreshments. Stronghouse is located at 283 South Fir Street (one block south of Baked in Telluride). Telluride Art Walk
We are pleased to introduce the Telluride Art Walk, a collaboration between local artists and studios, galleries, museums, and non-profit arts organizations. The Art Walk is a self-guided brochure of artistic venues in the Telluride and Mountain Village region, with participants staying open "late 'til 8" the first Thursday of each month.
