Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017  |  10:00am – 1:00pm   |  $75  |  Ah Haa School for the Arts

Spend a morning exploring two methods of printmaking while creating unique, handmade artwork for personal greetings or gifts. Students will learn linocut techniques by carving into soft printing blocks with linoleum cutters and printing with water-soluble inks. Monoprint techniques will also be taught for creating looser, more abstract images. All students should come away with no fewer than five images from each printmaking technique, and the skills to create more on their own with a few low-cost tools. (Linocut designs can be taken home and used again and again to create additional cards or other artwork.)
