Free outdoor music concert

July 19, 2017 6:00 pm

You know how in sports they pick the best players from every team at the end of the season to make an all-star team? That is essentially what the New Orleans Suspects are, an all-star band with the best musicians hand-picked from the greatest bands from the Crescent City. CR Gruver is the pianist/Hammond B-3 organ player that used to play with the Meters; Jeff Watkins, the saxophone player from the James Brown Band; "Mean" Willie Green, the drummer from the Neville Brothers; Charlie Wooton, a touring musician and producer for bands including Bonerama and Sonny Landreth; and last but not least, former Tellurider Jake Eckert, the guitarist who spent years performing with the Dirty Dozen Brass Band.

If you like funk, if you like to dance, or if you like New Orleans music, then DO NOT miss this show. The New Orleans Suspects play for free on July 19 from 6-8 p.m. on the Sunset Concert stage.
