Trevor Hall is the darling of the bohemian music scene. His music blends elements of reggae, roots, folk, and even Sanskrit chanting and has a global sound. Hall was born in South Carolina, and started playing harmonica with his father at an early age. He recorded his first song at sixteen, and went on to study classical guitar before getting into yoga and Indian culture, and even spent time at a Hindu ashram. His music was featured on the Shrek the Third soundtrack, and he toured with Matisyahu, The Wailers, Jimmy Cliff, Michael Franti, and Brett Dennen. His latest album, "KALA," was released in 2015 and he donates money from his live shows to support underprivileged and orphaned children in India.

Hall performs at the Sheridan Opera House at 8 p.m. on July 14. Tickets are $45 for general admission.
