The Sheridan Arts Foundation celebrates its 25th annual Wild West Fest with a special performance from Nahko & Medicine for the People on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. Nahko and Medicine for the People strive to create and perform a sound completely their own with an underlying theme of social and political change woven throughout the songs. His music has been called ‘beautiful and stirring’ and drawn comparisons to Bob Marley, proclaiming Nahko a “musical prophet.’ Critics have praised the group’s worldly blend of rock, hiphop, and alt-folk. Nahko has toured with such acts as Michael Franti, Xavier Rudd and Trevor Hall. Tickets are $30 GA on the floor and $45 reserved seats in the balcony plus a $4 ticketing fee at all sales outlets.
