This class at the Ah Haa School for the Arts will teach students to make their own designer tiles. Using sgraffito, stencil, relief carving, and other techniques, participants will learn a variety of styles and options for making tiles. Instructor Matthew Adams will demonstrate how to make molds from tiles so that you can create a series of the same design. Finished tiles will be glazed and then fired in a kiln, so they will be ready to use in fun home projects.
Decorative Relief Tiles and Tile Mold Making sessions are from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday, March 14-16 and Tuesday and Wednesday, March 28-29. Tuition is $300.
