Telluride has hosted the quirky Mushroom Festival for over 30 years. The festival is a celebration of all things fungal -- connoisseurs find themselves in good company amongst enthusiasts, experts, and scientists. Interests range from scientific to culinary, curiosity to investigative. Activities of the weekend include lectures by renowned experts, cooking with mushrooms, and guided hikes that focus on mushroom hunting and identification.
Fungi serve many purposes--from breaking down plant cellulose in nature, to creating nutrients for plants, to serving as food and medicine for people, to acting as bio-remediators to filter and break down toxic land like oil spills and agricultural run off and more. Join our festival to learn all that mushrooms have to offer the world!
Refund policy: Tickets are fully refundable until July 15th, 50% refundable from July 15th to August 1st, and non-refundable after August 1st.
A full festival pass will run you $275 (+ $14.74 processing). There are also VIP tickets and tickets for various workshops.
