Calling all foodies and foragers: This is a special edition of the popular Historical Snowshoe Tours offered by the Telluride Historical Museum. Local naturalists John Sir Jesse and Connie Colter will lead the tour, and teach how to identify winter plants. Strap on the snowshoes, and take a trip into the past and smell, touch, and taste some of the wild foods that sustained Native Americans, early settlers, and explorers in Southwest Colorado.

The tours are a joint effort of the Telluride Historical Museum and the Telluride Ski Resort, and they can be booked by calling (970) 728-7433 or online at adventure@tellurideskiresort.com
