A destination jazz festival not to be missed
"If Telluride ain't Heaven, then Heaven can wait."
- Dizzy Gillespie
The Telluride Jazz Festival is a celebration of the art, soul, history, and future of the genre of jazz music. The festival seeks to honor jazz's finest historic artists and create a platform from which new artists can voice their sound.
The Telluride Jazz Festival has consistently earned national and international attention for featuring the best in classic, mainstream, blues, African, Cajun, and Latin jazz music.
Telluride Jazz Festival ranks among the world’s most memorable music festivals. Since 1977, Telluride’s majestic perch high in the San Juan Mountains has been the site of an annual event produced by the Telluride Society for Jazz. The intimate format and superb music along with the opportunity for invigorating alpine recreation come together to create a truly unique weekend experience. Performances take place on two outdoor stages during the day and in historic theaters and clubs at night.
The Telluride Society for Jazz is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that produces a number of community educational programs as well as the Telluride Jazz Celebration. Your support allows us to keep going.
