The TED conference takes place in Vancouver, BC, Canada and is a four day sold-out event (February 15 – 19, 2016). Each attendee pays $8500. In the spirit of TED’s “Ideas Worth Spreading,” TED is allowing TED licensees Bill and Katrine Formby to simulcast for free the February 16th conference day.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. This event is called TEDxTellurideLive, where x = independently organized TED event. At the TEDxTellurideLive event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
