The Sheridan Arts Foundation cordially invites you to the first annual Adult Prom on Friday, Sept. 25 at the historic Sheridan Opera House. The night’s theme will be Dancing through the Decades paying homage to awesomely cheesy prom themes over the years.

Tickets are $30 each or $50 for couples and are on sale now through the link below.  The event begins at 8 p.m. with a red carpet entrance. For an additional $25 you can purchase a pick up in a vintage car from the Cars and Colors Festival and be dropped off at our red carpet in style.

We’ll have a classic prom photo station for your very own keepsake prom photo as well.

Local Telluride rockers Spacegunner will be performing prom favorites throughout the night. Spacegunner features local musicians and performers Mishky Key, Sam Burgess, Ethan Hale and Phil Hamilton.

And each ticket purchaser will get a free cup of spiked punch (no need to bring your flask like your rebellious high schol days, we’ve got the booze taken care of!)

Adult Prom is a fundraiser for the Sheridan Arts Foundation, the 501(c)3 non-profit that owns and operates the historic Sheridan Opera House, Telluride’s premier performing arts venue for 102 years and counting.

Retro prom attire is HIGHLY encouraged and the honor of prom king and queen will be given to the best-dressed couple of the night! We’ll also pick up the bar tab of our prom king and queen, so dress to the nines folks!

There will be a silent auction of fun items to further raise funds for the historic Sheridan Opera House.

If you would like to volunteer for this event, please

Dig out your best prom attire, ask a date to go with you and come on down for a night of fun.
